Master Pools Guild, the largest global network of elite pool builders in the world, met in Antigua, Guatemala to announce and celebrate their annual Excellence Awards. With approximately 150 people in attendance, this year’s Grand International Excellence Award for design was presented to Master Pools of Austin.
“The Guild is excited to see Master Pools of Austin receive this year’s top award,” shared Master Pools Guild Executive Director Dick Covert. “This project included a 35 foot retaining wall that made it possible for the pool, splash pad and backyard area to exist.
Creating space where no space exists is a hallmark of excellence in engineering design and construction. One few builders are willing to attempt.”
In addition to the Grand International Excellence Award, Master Pools of Austin also received a silver award for Geometric swimming pool design and an Outstanding Award for swimming pool remodel. Like the Grand International Excellence Award, the Outstanding Award for pool remodel is presented to only one pool each year and is the highest recognition given within the organization.
