When a family from Manhattan decided to retire to Santa Fe, they searched for that perfect Northern New Mexico property, close to the cultural and traditional aspects of Santa Fe but far enough away to feel a life lived at a slower pace. To complete this paradise, the owner wanted a pool he had been dreaming of ever since retirement became an option. After interviewing several pool designers around the Southwest, the family chose Dave Schneider, owner and head designer of Natures Creations. "We took the vision the client had, and designed exactly what he wanted," says Schneider. "And, that’s what we do for every client."
Natures Creations provides a complete package from concept to finished product. The design team begins the planning stage of the water features and surrounding landscape, and once approved, they begin the process of working on construction to finish details, colors, textures, and drawings. Working with its architects, Natures Creations specifies equipment, hydraulics, filtration, controllers, and all safety issues. They also provide the same attentive service after construction such as weekly maintenance service and winterizing pools, spas and exterior fountains. Natures Creations offers complete design packages along with construction and site management for each project.
In early 2009, Schneider was accepted into the Society of Watershape Designers. This exclusive membership is given to watershape designers who have successfully completed an intense pool-building and design curriculum. He is also a gold member with the prestigious Genesis 3 Design Group. Natures Creations is a member of the New Mexico Homebuilders Association (NMHA) and the American Institute of Architects.
