Who we are looking for:

RMS Media Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to sell print, digital and event advertising for its Luxury Pools + Outdoor Living title. The successful candidate will maintain existing business while developing a new advertising base across appropriate lifestyle categories via networking, prospecting, cold-calling and industry associations. The ideal candidates will possess a professional image with excellent communication and proposal writing skills. Previous experience in the pool industry and well as a minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience is preferred

Responsibilities include the following:

Bring in new accounts/break new business for the RMS brands

Develop/pitch campaigns to a large volume of accounts across multiple categories

Pursue and collaborate on cross-title partnerships with other RMS Media sales representatives

Establish and build effective relationships on the client and agency side

Liaise with production, editorial and special initiative teams across the company to provide RMS Media’s best capabilities and solutions to our partners

Have your own established contacts and relationships in the media industry that will contribute towards your sales success

Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to determine their potential

Analyze the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organization

Plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the return on time investment for the territory/segment

Maintain existing advertisers

Proficiently update customer management relationship software database with new leads, opportunities, and sales progressions

Attend weekly sales meetings

Maintain pipeline reports for ongoing updates on sales status and supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities and potential for new services

Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotes for current and prospective customers

Complete and execute sales contracts, including payment

Network within industry and professional organizations, chambers, at trade shows and other events

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
