Creating Dreams into Reality

Elite Pools by Scott is one of Arkansas’ most innovative and creative pool building companies. In fact, Scott Girner, president/owner, continues to take his business to new levels of sophistication by developing and finishing many projects others could not. Today, his reputation for completing difficult, unusual, and inventive designs continues to grow, helping his company remain at the forefront of the industry.

Girner finds that customized luxury is achieved with superb construction techniques combined with a critical attention to detail. A gold member of the esteemed Genesis 3 Design Group, Girner makes every effort to remain in tune with the industry’s latest methods, designs, and technical advances. “Education, knowledge, and experience bring my projects to a higher standard of waterscape design,” explains Girner. “I take great pride in working with the reflective qualities of water to create art in the landscape, and I can only achieve that by constantly refining my skills.”

The pool shown here follows the spirit of Frank Lloyd Wright by bringing the outside in and the inside out. “This project took much planning and skill to accomplish,” says Girner. “But it was also a fun project to do. I like challenges!”

Girner faced a number of tricky situations: One was to build a vanishing-edge pool without the usual waterfront view and another was to bring the edge of the pool up to the 20-year old home’s foundation. He accomplished the first one easily, and in the process proved that an infinity pool does not have to be adjacent to a natural waterway to be spectacular. The second objective was a bit more complex, but Girner was able to create a seamless interaction between the two worlds: it is difficult to determine where the pool deck ends and the home’s flooring begins.
